The Planet Flight Blog

Here at Planet Flight, we all have a severe case of POD (Post-Olympics Depression). I can't believe it's over, what on earth are we going to do now?

But never fear because we have just the solution. From now until the end of the Paralympics (9th September), we are offering a whopping 40% off all our products, which means they are £11.99 instead of £19.99! Now that's what I call a sale!

Monmouth Coffee

Over here on Planet Flight, we LOVE our coffee. Seriously. We can't function without it.

So it's kind of surprising that it has taken us so long to try what it supposedly the best coffee in London. I am of course talking about Monmouth Coffee, and this weekend we headed over to their flagship shop on Monmouth Street near Covent Garden to see how true this was.

Verdict : When you go to a coffee shop and there are people cueing up outside, you know it's gonna be good. Jebbie ordered and espresso, I opted for a Latte, and both were amazing. This is effectively the best coffee we have ever tasted in London.

But don't just take our word for it, check it out for yourself, it's at 27 Monmouth Street, Covent Garden and it's well worth the trip.

This bank holiday just gone, the Planet Flight team hopped in a hire car and went on a (rainy) road trip to Stongehenge via Windsor, Lacock and Bath. Lacock is a beautiful, beautiful place that is well worth the visit plus it has a name guaranteed to make you giggle every time you see it on a signpost, or maybe that's just us.

Here are some of the snaps we took on our epic one-day adventure.

Hey peeps! Here are a few snaps of the random adventures of Planet Flight.

About two months ago over on my other blog - AMS Design Blog - I posted a series of posters entitled "Confessions of a Designer". A few days later they were picked up by some other major blogs and since then they have been making they way around the blogosphere.

I thought I'd share them with you here, but before you read them it's worth mentioning that these posters are just a but of fun, so please don't be offended...

You can pick up your own copies of these prints over here.

This film review could pretty much be summed up in one word - meh.

As much as I wanted to see Daniel Radcliffe flex his rather under-developed acting muscles, he just can't pull it off. He just screams Harry Potter, and seeing him in a train speeding along the English countryside does not help.

It has a few cheap scares and jumpy bits, but all in all, it's not worth a trip to the cinema.

This past Sunday was the official Chinese new year celebration here in London. They turn the bottom of Charing Cross road into a pedestrian zone so you can stroll from Leicester Square to Trafalgar Square easily whilst chomping on noodles and watching the Chinese Lions.

The finale was a rubbish fireworks display that came out looking far more impressive in the photos than in real life but we had a good time nevertheless.
